Product Description:
The UC029G chainsaw from Makita is characterised by its compact design and powerful performance. It is powered by a 40 V max XGT battery and impresses with its manageability, weighing just 2.6 kg including the BL4040F battery. This chainsaw combines a high chain speed of 8 m/s with practical features that make it particularly user-friendly. An outstanding feature of the UC029G is the tool-free chain tensioner, which makes it possible to adjust the chain tension quickly and easily, even when wearing gloves. The automatic chain lubrication system ensures that the saw chain is always optimally lubricated, which minimises wear and increases longevity. An additional safety feature is the movable guard, which covers the top of the guide bar and gradually opens when cutting into the wood to provide maximum protection. For continuous monitoring of the oil level, the saw is equipped with a chain oil inspection window for easy checking. The eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) also improves the chainsaw's resistance to dust and water, making it particularly suitable for use in harsh conditions. The saw has a locking lever accessible from both sides and an electric brake that stops the chain extremely quickly after the switch is released to increase productivity and enhance operator safety. It should be noted that the use of BL4080 and BL4050 batteries is not recommended for this model. Instead, the 80TXL type saw chain with a 1.1 mm groove width offers fast work progress and contributes to efficient and safe operation.
